01E flipped gearbox adapter plates
01E flipped gearbox adapter plates for 20 or 50 degree engine angle.
These adapter plates allow you to fit the stronger 6 speed 01E gearbox to your 4 cylinder VW/Audi engine with minimal machining to the gearbox bell housing. These adapter plates replace the 6mm aluminium shim plate with an 8mm steel adapter plate facilitating the rotation of the gearbox when fitting into the VW T3 T25. It will be necessary to clearance the gearbox bell housing in a few places to clear some of the adapter plate fitting bolts.
