To make light work of fitting an AFN, AHU or 1Z 1.9 tdi engine into your diesel VW Transporter, we recommend these turbo adaptors.
These turbo adaptors allow the use of the std 1.6 turbo diesel (TD) (engine code JX) exhaust manifold, standard alloy turbo side engine mount and exhaust system to be used on your conversion with either the VNT 110bhp turbo or the 90bhp waste gate type turbo. This saves both time and money, but above all means that your bus will be simpler to maintain in the future with only the need to replace factory off the shelf parts such as exhausts and engine mounts.
No need for bespoke flexi exhaust adaptors that can break leaving you stranded with no hope of finding a replacement part off the shelf.
